Why Neuro Device Lab exists
Consumer neurotechnology is moving quickly. Devices that claim to influence relaxation, stress, sleep, recovery or nervous-system regulation now reach buyers long before most people have a clear way to compare them.
Neuro Device Lab exists to make those buying decisions easier to understand. We research non-invasive neuromodulation and vagus nerve stimulation devices, compare their features and costs, examine the evidence behind the underlying technologies, and explain where manufacturer claims end and independent evidence begins.

How we approach product coverage
We prioritize primary sources for specifications, pricing, warranty terms and manufacturer claims. When scientific literature is relevant, we distinguish evidence for a technology or stimulation method from evidence for a specific commercial product.
We also distinguish research-based product analysis from hands-on testing. A product is never described as personally tested unless it has actually been evaluated hands-on by the publication.
Our comparisons focus on factors that can materially affect a purchase: price and long-term cost, ease of use, comfort, session design, app experience, portability, warranty and returns, available evidence, and the practical trade-offs between competing devices.
Editorial independence
Neuro Device Lab may earn commissions from some links on the site. Affiliate relationships help support the publication, but they do not change the price paid by the reader. Commercial relationships do not give a manufacturer the right to approve our conclusions or rewrite our editorial coverage.
We aim to make commercial relationships visible rather than hide them. You can read the full Affiliate Disclosure and our Editorial Policy.
Health information
Neuro Device Lab is a consumer technology publication, not a medical provider. Our content is intended for general informational and purchasing purposes and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
When a product is marketed as a general wellness device, we aim to describe it that way and avoid presenting wellness claims as established medical treatment claims.
Corrections and updates
Prices, apps, subscriptions, product specifications and policies can change. We update material when meaningful changes are identified and aim to correct factual errors promptly. Readers and manufacturers may contact us with documented corrections, but editorial conclusions remain ours.
