Editorial Policy

The principles we use to keep product research, commercial relationships, manufacturer claims and editorial conclusions clearly separated.

Editorial standards

Neuro Device Lab publishes consumer-focused coverage of neurotechnology with a simple rule: factual claims, commercial recommendations and manufacturer marketing should not be blended together as though they are the same thing.

Our editorial content is written to help readers understand products and make informed purchasing decisions. We aim for clear sourcing, meaningful comparisons and language proportionate to the evidence available.

Sources and verification

For product specifications, prices, warranties, returns and regulatory or positioning statements, we prefer primary sources whenever reasonably available. Scientific claims should be tied to relevant research rather than inferred from unrelated studies.

If a manufacturer says a device supports a particular wellness outcome, that statement may be reported as a manufacturer claim. We do not automatically restate it as an independently established fact.

Reviews and comparisons

Reviews and comparisons should explain why differences matter to a buyer. We consider price, long-term cost, usability, comfort, session experience, features, evidence, warranty and other factors relevant to the product category.

Hands-on observations are identified as such only when a device has actually been used by the publication. Research-based articles must not imply personal experience that did not occur.

Commercial relationships

Some pages contain affiliate links. Neuro Device Lab may receive a commission when a reader purchases through certain links, at no additional cost to the reader.

Editorial controlAn affiliate relationship does not give a manufacturer the right to approve an article, alter a comparison, suppress a relevant drawback or dictate our editorial conclusion.

Sponsored content, if published in the future, should be clearly identified as sponsored and separated from independent editorial coverage.

Health and medical claims

We cover products that may sit near health and wellness topics, so precision matters. Neuro Device Lab does not diagnose medical conditions and does not provide individualized medical advice.

We aim to distinguish consumer wellness products from regulated medical devices and to avoid transferring evidence, authorizations or claims from one product to another merely because the devices use related technology.

AI-assisted work

Technology may be used to assist research organization, drafting or editing. Regardless of the tools used, published factual claims remain subject to editorial review and the same sourcing standards described on this page. Automated output is not treated as a source.

Corrections and updates

We welcome documented corrections. When a material factual error is identified, we aim to correct it promptly. Product pages may also be updated as pricing, software, policies, specifications or evidence change.

A request from a manufacturer or commercial partner does not guarantee a change. Corrections are based on evidence, not commercial pressure.

Conflicts and transparency

Where a relationship could reasonably affect how readers interpret an article, our goal is to disclose it clearly. Affiliate disclosures are placed on relevant commercial pages and a full explanation is available in our Affiliate Disclosure.
